Now that summer is finally in full swing, special attention must be paid towards our feet and toes. If you are at all like me, your feet probably haven’t seen the light of day in months and are in dire need of some TLC! Now is the time to get back those sexy summer toes. The obvious solution is to book it down to your nearest nail salon and splurge on the most thorough pedicure they offer- which I did. But It's doesn't end there. Our feet can really take a beating sometimes and no one wants to see your rough, dry heels and calloused feet tucked into those strappy heels.
Here's how to beat nasty feet:
1. Once a week (at the least) give your self a little pedi spa treatment. Run a hot shallow bath and add some Epsom salt. This will help revive tired and potentially sore feet.
2. Once you allow your toes to soak, use a coarse foot scrub or pumice stone to scrub away dead skin.
3. Before bed, slather on a generous amount of Vaseline on your feet and immediately put on a pair of socks. This is the most optimal way to soften and moisturize your feet. I absolutely love this method!
4. Finally, pick your favorite nail polish that will breath new life into your refurbished feet.
