Baking soda is a household staple that serves many purposes besides cleaning and baking. Today I’m going to share with you the many ways to incorporate baking soda into your beauty regimen. You will be thrilled to learn what one little box of Arm & Hammer can do for your nails, skin and hair.

Here are a few amazing uses for baking soda:

Face scrub and body exfoliator– Baking soda provides a gentle, facial and body scrub that helps remove dead skin cells that will leave your skin soft, glowing and smooth. Make a paste of 3 parts Baking Soda to 1 part water. Rub in a gentle circular motion to exfoliate the skin. Rinse clean (be careful to avoid eye area). It is so gentle that you can use it daily.

Home pedicure for feet- Get rid of stinky feet and foot fungus by soaking your feet for about 15 minutes to half an hour in a solution made out of warm water and a half cup of baking soda and even a few drops of tea tree oil if you prefer.

Pearly white teeth– Instead of using toothpaste, try using some baking soda instead. It really helps to whiten teeth and leaves your mouth fresh, clean and your teeth sparkly!

Hair care– Mix a little baking soda to with favorite shampoo. Shampoo as usual and rinse well. Baking Soda helps remove the residue that styling products can leave behind, leaving your hair feeling cleaner and more manageable.

Spray tan remover– Add a little lemon juice to the baking soda and exfoliate the your spray tan off!

Deodorant– gets rid of armpit stench by rubbing your pits with ½ teaspoon of baking soda and one tablespoon of water.
