Tinted moisturizer is honestly a godsend. I prefer not to dress my face up too much on a daily basis but still like to mask and maximize my over all appearance. Tinted moisturizer offers a light coverage to help even out my complexion, replenishes my skin, and can even offer SPF to help protect it. I often wear it on its own or under foundation for extra coverage. So whether you wear foundation or not, you should consider having tinted moisturizer on hand.
While there are so many different types of face make up out there offering sheer to full coverage and Dewey to matte finishes, they are not to be confused with tinted moisturizer. Some tinted moisturizers have a Dewey or glowing element that can have a nice effect, I prefer one that’s an illuminator. Illuminating creates a soft pearl like finish that will brighten and highlight your skin without creating too much shine. Which is why it’s perfect to wear alone or under makeup.
