Finally, it’s Holiday baking season! Let the bake-offs begin! Get ready to warm up your kitchen with this delicious and easy to bake Chocolate chip banana loaf from scratch. And there’s a gluten -free option! Say what? Prepare to wow and don’t expect any leftovers either. Enjoy!

3 small or 2 large bananas
2 cups Organic all-purpose flour or Gluten-free flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup organic cane sugar
2 organic eggs
1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9×5 loaf pan with butter.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and creamy for about 2-3 minutes. Beat in eggs, one at a time or until completely mixed. Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla. Slowly add the flour mixture but don’t overmix! Next, stir in the chocolate chips.
Finally, scrape the batter into the pan. Bake for about 30 minutes then check on it. If it’s becoming too brown too fast, too loosely add some foil on top. Bake for another 20-30 minutes. Insert a toothpick and if the middle comes out clean, it’s done!. Cool for 15 minutes then flip it onto a cooling rack to cool off completely.
