Who here suffers from clogged pores and acne? Clogged pores are one of the main reasons for acne. An unusual yet inexpensive way to clean your pores is by giving your face a good steam. Steaming your face is almost like steaming your body for a good deep cleanse. A cleanse that happens from the inside and out. The steam helps to make your pores sweat which causes them to open up allowing any dirt and oil to be pushed out. Afterwards, you are left with soft, supple and refreshed skin. Not to mention less visible pores. Yes!!

The facial steam is so easy you can do it at home and requires no special equipment or products. Just follow these simple steps below.

Ingredients:

Boiled water
Bowl
Herbs such as rosemary, mint, and lavender
Essential oils ( optional)
Towel

Instructions:

First, Wash your face with cleanser. After that boil a pot of water. Remove the pan from heat and then add herbs such as rosemary, mint, lavender or chamomile to your bowl, and then add the hot water. Place your face over the bowl and put the towel over your head to trap the steam. It shouldn’t feel uncomfortable but if it’s too hot then move further away from the bowl. The steam should disappear after about 10-15 minutes. After, feel free to rinse your face again with a mild cleanser. Then pat your face dry and add a moisturizer of your choice.

You can do this at home once a week and save yourself a ton of money! Go on and give it a try!
